Visceral fat deposits are a type of fat that attaches to organs,
particularly in the abdominal region. These types of fat deposits have
been correlated to the onset of harmful conditions like hyperglycemia,
diabetes, hypertension, cardiac conditions, strokes and certain types of
cancer in some individuals. These fat deposits hold in bodily toxins
and excessive hormones, which can later be released into the bloodstream
to cause irreparable damage. It is, however, possible to get rid of
visceral fat deposits and to improve one's health by implementing a few
lifestyle changes.
