Swimming is excellent exercise because it engages every muscle in your
body. Swimming is easy on your joints and it's efficient for burning
fat. If you have a pool nearby it's well worth adding swimming to your
exercise routine as it will give you variety and will help you with your
weight loss goals. If you can find a friendly swim-coach at your local
pool, ask her to take a look at your stroke and give you some tips on
technique---your exercise will be much more effective if you're doing it
right.
