Each of us has a unique genetic makeup; we are different and, as a
result, not everyone stores fat in the same places. For many women (and
some men), the hips are a big problem area -- the dumping ground for
that stubborn, unwanted, excess fat. Unfortunately, it is not possible
to "spot reduce" -- a term used to describe the process of removing fat
from one problem area. To lose fat from around your hips, you must adopt
a strategy to reduce your overall body-fat percentage.
